Robert meeting with other representatives from Slovakia and Hungary discussing Slovenia and Australia’s business environment
Robert Walters representing Slovenian Australian Chamber of Commerce attended the Small Business Festival Victoria 2016. Swinburne and the Hungarian Consulate Melbourne connected Victorian businesses with opportunities in Central and Eastern Europe.
Over 120 participants, speakers, consultants, sponsors and volunteers spent an evening networking, discussing and exploring the business opportunities, that the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia and Romania have to offer to Victorian small and medium sized businesses.
Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and AUSTRADE officials provided support to the business representatives. The event was sponsored by Excel Electrical Engineers Pty Ltd, the Hungarian Consular Office in Melbourne, the Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources Victoria and Swinburne University of Technology.
